Default Cossie Dipped Headlight Not Working

car went for mot yesterday and failed on o/s dipped headlight, why has this stopped working? ive cleaned all the earths and fuse's are fine. main beam works fine and dipped light on the n/s works fine. anyone know what wire controls the dipped beam on the plug that connects to the headlight? just wondering if i can trace the wire to see if there's a fault.

Check the relays over and that they are making a proper contact with the fuse board

first you need to check if you are getting power to the connector above.
1 live is for dip beam and there is another for high beam. but they only work 1 at a time. (so 1 goes out when the other comes on)
i had the same problem as you. checked all fuse's and they where fine but i swapped a fuse round by mistake and found the fuse was'nt working properly but looked ok.
