ive seen some good stuff in the pictures thread, how do i get this affect? ive seen some crackle black spray paint, but from what i gather most people do it with normal paint and heat?
havnt got a clue tbh!

-Get a heat gun
-Heat up the part you're painting
-Spray the crackle black on the part
-Continue to heat with gun until crackle finish is achieved

ok, so you cant do it with normal paint then, you need to start with crackle black paint?

What do you mean? Normal paint won't crackle. If you want crackle finish, use a crackle paint!

I used VHT crackle black paint from frosts
