Been looking now for 4 weeks for a good 2nd hand t3 for my series 2! Dont want a new 1 or a hybrid just a good used one for my daily smoker, I know they dont last long once on a chipped car etc but normally loads around for sale.

Most places want £200-£300 just for a rebuild which is out of my range!

if 200-300 is out of your range I think you should be selling up mate - no offense. Turbos are much pricier than they used to be as they just don't mate the T series stuff like they used to.

Not normally mate but like most peolpe at the moment works slow & not got that sort of money to thro at a turbo when ive got other priorities.

Its just that theres always been plenty around for sale just none when i need one i suppose!!

And sods law is that when i do get one.............they will spring up everywhere!
