I dont think they should be driven if they have made it this far being so well looked after & kept thats the way they should stay so they will always be around. If i ever make 70 years old & see a low mileage cosworth/mk2 rs2000 i would be delighted

 

If you can afford to have a nice one as an investment and also one to enjoy then why not.

 

there was one that had done something like 300miles on PH a while ago had been kep in a temprteure chamber at a constant tempreture with little/no moisture in the air and inly diver on a perfect day

 

l have 1 with no clock in it so i think its done about 5 miles

My escos had 7k when I bought it in 2005 sold it late 2005 with 11k for £19k to a bird who had only been driving 8 months!!!

My G plate 2wd saph before that had 62k when I bought it in 04, went up in flames last year with sub 70k on it.

 

No any Escort Cos with miles like that is worth mega money, early homologation cars would probably be of more interest due to what they represent but either will command silly money with mileage like that.

No, you have to find the right buyer and there aren't going to be many of those around!
I know someone on RSOC offered 40k for this car and it was turned down before the much higher offer was accepted.

 

So pretty much gota advertise it and wait for a buyer.

Still 45k is a decent amount =o
