i own a mk5 escort and i am having trouble with rust under the window rubbers does anybody know the best way to get rid of it?

leave it out on the street and the council will remove it for free

take it to a good bodyshop,they'll sort it,it'll need cutting out and fresh metal in,i had the doors on a xr4i done a few years ago,cost me 150quid.
