To be honest i think you have money to burn, 50" isnt going to be a huge leap is it surely? and how much is this 50" going to cost?

I wouldnt unless ive got a money tree out the back

Basically we dont have a TV in our bedroom.....so instead of going and buying a 32" tv for the bedroom...i would rather buy a new 50" one for the lounge then use the 42" from the lounge in the bedroom.....

If you got the space go large, Replaced my 50 with a 58" last month, so much better. Can't go far wrong with Samsung, good quality at a good price, on my 2nd now and both are faultless. Also if you want picture quality for films etc go for Plasma, if you want to for games LCD is better.

I've got friends who think the same thing... They've got 50" televisions for the price I paid for my £700 37", and some cost less. They agreed themselves that the quality of mine is in a world of it's own. I've always had pansonic and I reckon' it's all I'll ever have.
