we went n moved the cars about to get the anglia in side so the tarp wouldnt take it sailin off down the street. but there aint even a slight gust here, nothin.... trees are totally still n everythin.

proper windy here for about 3days now too (Glasgow, thats in Scotland for u foreign goons ) went out for a smoke n wit was proper whistlin, wind chimes goin mad an ariels hangin off roofs lmao

Woke me up at 5am, sounded like the sky dish was about to fall off so outside to investigate and maybe move the car out the way
Was dark, wet, fookin freezing and very windy! Thankfully it wasnt the dish atall, never did work it what the noise was but everything is still here now lol

Survived the night...... .... and actually slept like a baby when I managed to fall asleep 
Trees are still standing but lots of stuff has been blown away in the garden....
What's kinda weird is that the sun is shining and the birds singing.....
If you can "forget" about the wind, its really a lovely day out there....

lol yes very true but i've just been out to see if i can "save the panel"
and winds nearly blown me over on top of it felt a right fool!
me in my dressing gown in the wind holding this bloody great panel and nearly going flat on my face! (we live on main road pmsl )
so i think i'll wait till winds died down a bit
storms gone to sleep now lol so everyone be REALLY quiet!

It's damn windy here in Holland too, heard that the boat from Hoek van Holland to Harwich didn't even sail out this morning..

i thougt it was only one panel that had snapped but just like you all the posts have snapped so they are all being held up by rope, wheeley bins and a few temporary brackets

Because of the storm, 4 people have died today in denmark loads of damage. Where I am, tiles and stuff are falling down from the roof tops

They are busier than they have ever been
Borrowed a large generator from someone, so beer is now cold
Shitloads of candles and they have a large gas tank for heating so its not too bad now 
all the locals are going to the pub because nobody else has electrics yet.
