Default st170 gearbox paddle clutch (mini)

was looking at putting a st170 box in my s2 before purchasing a focus rs box

decided to go with the frs box because of the price of a clutch for a st170 box

but just had a brainwave

i know the mini cooper s r53 had the same getrag box so im asuming it uses the same size flywheel?

anyway the cheepest paddle clutch i found when looking to do the st170 box was from america and that was about £600 delivered

just been looking on ebay and found a mini paddle clutch for £250

surely it would fit using an st170 flywheel???

heres the item number of the mini clutch 250526649293

worth a look or maybe im being completely stupid

Mat

Interesting idea!

Would still need a flywheel as the ST170 is a crappy dual mass jobby.

Did you manage to fit the RS3 clutch onto the ST170 flywheel?
