Default Anyone use a Compbrake Cosworth Pedal Box

any got a pic of theres fitted were the balance bar is?

my Adjuster keeps hitting the column

would i be right thinking i would want the bar to be favouring the front brakes so less pressure on rear to stop them locking first?

Had same problem on the boys mk2 scort ended up binning all combrake stuff inc pedal box the same old excuse "it should fit, it does fit, never any complaints" spiel. Shame really i thought the calipers were the bollocks so upgraded to compbrake. Someone off here was starting to help put together another kit for my Alfa and he disappeared too.

No idea whats going on but save yourself a headache goto rallydesign and buy wilwood like i had too its better thoughtout pedal box and it fits without hitting anything. Shame really i gone full circle back to wooly wilwoods which are shite on tarmac.

ps smaller master for front, larger for rear and try get as much rear bias as possible before locking them up with wilwoods the bar nearly central (did it at mot station on brake test rollers for a drink)

I had exactly the same problem with mine

I rang them and basicly was told by Steve ( the owner of crap brake ) that they were made on a jig and that they had never had any problems and had sold hundreds

I tried again but just couldnt sort it

I rang crap brake back and was given there supliers contact number and was told to ring them ,,,,,,,,,I did ,,,,,,,,,about 10 times and they never answered the phone
I left message after message and they never called me back

I had to cut and modify it myself

Fucking comp brake sell nothing but utter shit that DO NOT fit and i wondered why everything you buy comes with a bag full of washers so you can pack everything to make it fit

Utter utter shit products and shit service when you complain

Rant over

I love the compression struts and other stuff i have used. just this seems like a headache i would understand if it was a universal box but its my old cossie pedal box adapted. you would expect it to fit???

tbh i aint got the time to send things back etc etc as my machining and bulkhead has all been modified and plated for this box so i might have to do what paul done and start chopping about the box.
