Is it really worth it? it seams a good idea with all of the TV Packages etc but is it just sales Hype?

We are currently on a pretty basic sky package as all we watch is the Discovery channels, Nat Geo for Air Crash and sky one/dave etc

Are these available for me to get my motoring TV Fix of mike brewer cocking up more motors than he has sold, or pete mate looking as reluctant as ever and crock campbell bollocking his staff for fucking up over a broken brake again

I know its repetitive shite, but at the end of the day I only get 2-3 hours a day of it, once all the other repetitive shite is out the way (Eastenders, Corrie, Emmerdale, Big Bother, Im a (ex) celebrity (wanting fame again) Get me out of here (Im a pussy) etc etc etc) and it helps me unwind after a hard days work

So what you guys think? Cable is out of the question as they are not down my street yet - although there are plans to do it sometime in 2011 apparently

Avoid BT like the plague!!!

Not heard a good word said about them with regards to their customer service, my mum and dad had no end of problems with them. Stick with sky!

My boss got bt vision to replace sky HD, cancelled it within 24 hours, said it was a right load of shite, its glorified freeview with select content been downloaded. No advantage at all.

i got it as it sounded great, in reality its shite, i set it up realised the gashness of it and put it straight back in its box, you pay to watch stuff over and above monthly subs, cust service non existant, billed me for 6 months after id cancelled it and constantly phoned me telling me i owed them money, dont do it

did the same to my uncle so there are obviously plenty of people having bother with them.

Utter pap they way they sell it it sounds like you get discovery etc but its only some selected stuff to download and watch. It has not changed for ages. I am cancelling mine at the end of the term.
