Default Escort Cosworth (Hockey Stick) splitters

Hi guys i just sold some of the above to a chap who has contacted me to say that they are not genuine fords.............i purchased them from fords last year they were sold still in the parts wrappers............but they are black fibreglass...............he recons that they should be plastic


have i been done by a ford main dealer or what?

should they be plastic or fibreglass?

Can anyone shed any light?

Nope, sound like proper Ford hockey sticks to me - thay ain't plastic, only the stone deflector & splitter are plastic.

Steve, check in the escort rs cosowrth forum mate, Steve escos is prob the guy who bought em off ya, he was checkin cos he thought they were plastic!!

He werent being funny though i dont think, hesatop guy is steve!!

K thanks guys! ........................is that the RS owners forum?

Well he did'nt sound too chuffed, but i did buy them from Fords!

Along with the top and bottom splitters...........but they didn't fit my bumper anyway,had to go for an all in one from fibresports, hence the reason i sold em!

Steve, firstly yes i was the guy who bought them off you. Secondly, i would just like to apologise to you. After doing some further digging i found that you were right and the dealer i spoke to was wrong. I feel a bit embaressed . hope you will accept my apologies. Steve

Yeah no prob steve...............just glad it's sorted..it was annoying me all night after you rang................I thought Fookin Ford pay good money for parts and they gave me replicas
