Guys a twat, BUT Oasis wouldnt have been half the band without him..........No way would Noel have carried off stuff like Supersonic or Whats the Story the same as Liam.....and No way would the band have been half as good without Noel, the only reason they lasted so long was because they needed each other to make it work as a band, Noel will be a solo sucess as well if he chooses
proper Rock and Roll tho, so were Kasabian, glad they got some credit
Cheryl Cole should have been booed off stage, she should have been ashamed of that shit she churned out when there was stuff like Dizzee and Florence being performed, she was an embarrasment

I actually do not get Cheryl Cole at all. Not talent, annoying as fuck and never ever sings live - apart from with Snow Patrol which was impressive but that is it.
I am sure they just like her in the industry... fuck knows why..

i fucking hate kasabian with a passion, theyre just working class oasis wanabees. Theyll never be anything like oasis. Kasabian is basically 4 liam gallaghers, ie no talent

As much as I love Oasis for me Kasabian are the much better live band. Seen Kasabian a few times now and they never fail to impress me how fucking great live they are, Oasis on the other hand have been shit the last couple of times I have seen them. Dont know wtf Liam is doing these days with his singing but he's fucking ruining the songs live for me.

Liam is a twat, but as said, he was the attitude that made Oasis what it.
That whole 'lets fookin ave it' attitude put them on a different level to anyone around. Most other bands were moaning an wining about shit in their songs, they came along and tore the roof off.
Noel is the brains and talent and i am eager to see what he puts out, would like to see him doing abit more on tv and radio as he is a funny fooker, but it was liam that made them front page news.
I watched an mtv interview where Liam wouldn't stand next to the cheesy present, but stood 8ft away, the presenter REALLY didn't want to bow down and walk to him, the camera man was struggling to get them both in shot, proper funny to watch.

the reason i say theyre wanabees is that:
-they act like their all hard and stuff
-the singer tries to sing like liam
-all they do is slag off other bands, and in particular the exact same bands that oasis happen to not like...i.e. kaiser chiefs, blur

If you saw the shortlist of the other albums nominated there really wasn't gonna be any other winner (maybe The Verve at a push). It was inevitable that Liam was gonna show up out instead of Noel.
Liam is probably the best front man of the last 30 years, even if he does owe A LOT to Ian Brown. But as a person, bit of a dick.
Looking forward to Noel's solo effort should he ever make one.
