Don't understand why people slag the show off, I love it lol. It got me into the idea of being able to get a decent car you can work on yourself without spending alot of money(I was only about 12 when I frst watched it). Anyway it should be good, can wait for it to get on telly now.
Watched a few Deals on Wheels programmes recently and i'm sure Mike has got more irritating with age. He is much more annoying on Wheeler Dealers than he was on Deals on Wheels (and a lot porkier).

How old is Deals on Wheels? Watched it once and a mk2 fiesta sold for like Ł3000 Now, I'm not sure if thats the norm, but i've seen better examples sell near me for only Ł1000 at max

it's got the 2wd gear stick but 90 spec everything else, i wonder if he'll let that slip?
or perhaps the buyer hsould go and kick off about it not being a 2wd car
hopefully they will have swapped all the suspension and brakes and stuff about to make it 2wd rather than just the box, but we'll have ot wait and see
As much as I enjoy the show ,I also note a lot of items normally on the cars are just tarted up as apposed to giving them a proper looking at,I have a couple of pals who both have dogs danglies saphs and they too are sceptical,as what extent the refurb has gone ?
Just because on TV you only see them tarting items up, doesnt mean that's all they do. They have to edit the programme down to fit into 2x 30 min episodes and keep it interesting to keep the viewers interested. Though I agree occasionally all they do is tart it up.
