Unhappy refitting engine

I about to remove my old engine from my fiesta bonus 1992 model and replace it with another one, I have the repair manual, but am at a bit of a loss, the question is this, which gaskets and seals should be replaced. All it tells me is to replace the exhaust manifold gasket/seals and to replace any locking nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You only need to replace them if you have removed the certain part,ie if you remove the exhaust manifold get a new one,if you remove the inlet manifold get a new one ect ect
You might be able just to drop the downpipe so no need to remove or replace the the main exhaust manifold gasket
