buy the p100
close ur eyes and jump up and down next to it shouting im a cock
and it will look like a sierra.
only joking pal.
u just change the front bumper for a cossy one, and a 4wd bonnet if u want vents.
then u need the 4 stud hubs so u can fit nice wheels and lowering blocks for the rear and springs front.

i use myn for cartin all sorts about lol.
bmx's, toolboxes and even furniture.
the skips rot out and ther impossible to find in good condition. i managed to buy one from ford but tha was a long time ago.
and just scruffy body work. most have been used as work horses for 20 years and if u want it to look good ur gunna have to knock every one of those dents out. so if u do buy, buy sensibly.
buy an old xr4 for a couple hundred and put the big brakes, v6, stiffer shocks, dash, seats etc etc in the p100. then get it resprayed. ul have a cheap 160bhp motor. that will be cheap and reliable.

thats the way it is here anyway
if i was 17 again getting my first car it would def have been a p100 v6 due to the cheap commercial insurance
that p1 in fast ford was class
boa is easy to wire in
bob is a small bit more power but much harder to wire in (use a boa loom instead)

the engine mounts are the same on all the sierra engines. u just need a v6 bellhousing. but if u buy the xr4 then u already have all that.
performance wise the p100 is abit lighter than a std sierra so with the xr4 engine in standard tune expect around 17 second 1/4 7second 0-60 and maybe 130mph top end
which around maclaren f1s looks slow but trust me. at 17 is stupidly fast. ul be able to keep up with most of the quick hatchbacks. and ul be rwd.
the 24v bob differs from the boa, it produces slightly more power, its higher compression. but its a pain to wire up and dosent look as good.
the boa is the one you want. also because the boa is 7/1 compression u do alot with it. you can +150 nitrous or 8psi turbo it on standard everying safely.
myn has the 24v and itl do a 15second pass without nos . and with a headwind itl hit its limiter in 5th.

right ok then so stick with the boa then sounds good 2 me and prices for that are roughly..... with everything
so does eveyone think this is a good idea and when you say comercial insurance what does this mean what sort of price are we looking at??

...... and is it really so cheap to insure a Granada V6 when you're 17?
Sorry, I'm only asking a question. I know how much it was to insure an XR4i for a 25 year old with only 3 years no claims bonus!

Fair do's hun, you go for it, just go for quality rather than quantity and then your investment will hopefully hold its value.
