Default does this sound dodgy

About half n hour ago i heard a car stop outside my house i had a quick look out the blinds saw white vauxhall van with 2 guys in it but didnt really bother about it. it was sat outside ticking over for about 15mins, So i went upstairs to look out the window as the blinds were open and the lights were off so who-ever it was wouldnt see me having a nosey out the window, next thing the driver jumps out walks up to my drive and looks down both sides of my Impreza WR1. I opened the upstairs window an shouted but as soon as he heard me he looked up and ran back into the van, i ran down stairs and out the door but by this time the van was half way down the street

I'm probably right in thinking that if was a couple of pikey theiving bastards, Downstairs blinds are now open and i'm keeping an eye out for this van

Do you think im being paranoid or does this sound a bit dodgy

i would say WR1 are one of the better looking scoobs and i think you need to be doing some work to make the car very very secure or if possible move it for a few nights.

good luck

may have been sussing out if anyone was in mate, pitty you didn't get the reg of the van, could have called the old bill and said you disturbed them trying to steal it.

Chances are knowing that you have clocked them they wont come back tonight, but may try in the future so make sure it is a difficult target.

Police have been told mate, but say theres nothing they can do as no crime has been commited, they said all they can do is drive past a few times throughout the night.

Can you not remove the fuel pump fuse or even pop the ECU out of it?

if your using it every day then taking wheels of is a nightmare.

If you have it blocked in, the keys safe and the house locked then you can do no more.

After all, had you not clocked them you would never know, no point loosing sleep, just make it as secure as you can and IF it goes it goes. Could have happened any time.

Dodgy that stevie. but screw taking battery out etc, they will never come for it now.

Doubt they would nick it now though as you sort oof caught them, running away ? strange, youl not be able to sleep now knowing this as every noise you hear you will be alert.

Been good if you caught a regy

Disconecting the battery will turn the alarm off but the tracker has a back up battery of around about 72 hours if this helps
