I used to love listening to Mark and Lard, i liked the fact that they'd stray from the playlist and slip in a decent tune now and then as well.

I cant listen to R1 for more than about 2 minutes tbh, aside from the fact the dj's are fucking annoying, the majority of the "music" they play is fucking awful!!

I started to listen to Signal, the local station round here, but thats just turned into X factor FM lately, so now i've started listening to either R2 or radio Stoke, i must be getting old!!

I find Scott Mills good but the rest is shit imo. Moyles likes the sound of his own voice and people like Fearne and Nehal(sp) just don't have the presence of some of the old DJ's. Not listened on a Sunday morning for ages but Vernon Kay was good.
I don't mind them talking but its the shite they talk about that irritates the shit out of me!
For me it was the charts show, essential selection and the roadshow in summer!!

I find myself quite comfortably listening to Radio 2 very often now. My pipe and slippers are on order.............

We have Kiss, Connect or Heart round here so i'm not left with many alternatives.

Mark and Lard were soooooooo funny! I always had em on in the car on the way home from work and sometimes it was bloody dangerous trying to drive literally laughing your arse off!

I liked Moyles when he first came on, then hated him, and now sorta like him again!

i loved the way that they'd say they'd got the songs out of the way at the start of the show and then could general talk for the rest of it

and then there were them things that you had to find out what they were talking about, so you'd have some shit to start the stoy off, then something else in the middle, then something else at the end of the show

i never knew any of them and i listened for practiaclly the whole time they were o from about 2000 onwards

ones on radio 2 in the evenings and the other one was on radio 7 or soemthing

they said that they had decided to split up ebcause they'd been together for ages

just my opinion fellas but our tune as mentioned previously is the only radio slot i ever heard of that used to completely stop work for that short space of time not just where i worked at the time but countrywide [i know i getting old if in doubt ask yr dad lol]

Radio 2 is getting alright, bit bigger playlist than R1.

Steve Wright and Mayo are both on R2, Used to love Chris Evans 5-7, made the M6 jaunt half a pleasure.

Mark Radcliffe is on R2 from 8pm with Marconi, still pretty funny, I think Lard is doing some local radio stuff and was talk of him doing some more work with Mark E Smith.

I have not listened to R1 properly since i was a kid when Bruno Brookes did the chart! I find it very annoying. Far too much talking about shit! Id rather listen to local radios adverts than some overpaid fat bastard talking about nonsense!
Then theres the chart show - fearne and reggie - what a load of shite! They dont even playall the songs now like they used to as they are too busy talking shite and having phone ins with people on the phone doing what? - Talking shite!

Moyles was good, but now has a massive fat head on him with his little paid minions gigling at his every word.

Trouble is they don't get feedback, so his little paid runners giggling makes him think he is awesome, get the fat tit on stage and see how long before he is off in tears when he has to see who is actually laughing..

Same with all the rest, if they are on to long its the same old shite and they think they are better than they are.

Think they should regularly change them so you don't get tired of their shite.
