MACCLESFIELD anyone???? (CONGLETON now!)
The missus just qualified as a doctor and has been posted at the hospital in Macclesfield for the first 2 years, so will be moving there around July.
Just want to know....
What's it like there?
Anyone here live there?
More importantly....is it Cossie/pride and joy friendly???
Cheers,
Al

I was right though
Posts so far back it up....apart from Kosmans sneaky "friendly" offer, beware! It is just a cunning ruse so he can slip you some Rohypnol and give you a taste of what you been doin' to them poor sheep all these years.

This, is one-
Obviously YOU find this positive- dunno about the sheep content mate you mite find the odd farm to sneak about on after dark!!
and like i said the outside areas are nice enough, but dunno about the bulk of the centre, there is much worse, but it isn't some valley where nobody can hear you scream...

But its great to know there's enough people around that can help with Ford's anyway, glad to know. Just hope my company can transfer me now

its a backwards place where the favorite passtime seems to be incest, most of the people are strange and seem to be stuck in a time warp, by the time you get there the the ford seirra should just be going out of production to be replaced by the brand new ford mondeo, understandably macc is very excited about this.

Glad to know, thanks for all the support and advice. Keep it coming guys, whatever else you can give me about the place that would be great.
Went there today, seems like a decent place, a little like Shrewsbury (which isn't a decent place ) but you can see Neil's point.....a lot of smackhead's around
Trying to find a place somewhere near the hospital, but Bollington did look a little better

I live 10 min away in chapel-en-le-frith, i moved here from london so was a bit of a culture shock at first . But i love it here now and best of all is some great driving roads round here and chapel is a quite pleasant place to live my road has only got 10 houses in it so nice quiet. I'm up for helping any fellow enthusiasts with any spannering should you need help.

I live 5-10 min away in Langley, if your into mountain biking there is some good biking to be had.
Big Jim lives in macc himself, he had a FRST until it got sideswiped.
