i see a connection with the blair witch going on here piles of stones versus your pile of shaving foam....wierd.
girlfriends house used to do wierd stuff like pictures move off the wall and be smashed on the floor at the other side of the room, cups of water ending upside down in the middle of the room when her parents were asleep. i didnt stay round there for a long time after these events.

Sounds like poltergeist activity to me or someone winding you up 
Do some experiments e.g. Where the shaves were stacked up, place a cross or something on a white piece of paper and draw a line around the outside of the object with a pencil. Check and see if its moved

when a m8 of mine moved into her new house something weird happened there.
every morning when she'd come downstairs there would be a glass in the middle of her living room floor upside down.
this happened every morning for couple of months!!
then one day it just stopped.
maybe ya grans rying to make contact with you, you should try talking to whoever it is. they can't hurt you.. although did anyone see that program about poltergoists and how they DO attack!!!
scratches were appearing all over this mans body and stuff. not nice.
get a priest to come and bless the house

We've had all sorts of stuff happen at work, and in the past I've had some spooky stuff happen, but nothing in my current house......Until last night!!!!
Boyfriend and I were sat at the table eating, kids were in bed, dog asleep and with no logical explanation the whisky bottle that I keep lose change in decided to shake the money about!!!!!

I've had all sorts of weird shit happen in the house I live at with my Mum until the new house is ready. Like...........a pint glass literaly exploding right in front of my eyes with no-one touching it & no-one else in the room, this was in the morning & was daylight BTW. Clocks moving in the night, heard what I thought was my Mam coming in & walking up the stairs (was clear as a bell, was just upstairs reading at the time) but no-one was there, the house is detached BTW so wasn't hearing next door. Possibly the best one was at night, a knock at the front door, went to answer it, could see the silhouette of a young girl in a dress through the frosted glass. As I approached the door she walked slowly to the right, I opened the door & no-one was there at all wasn't knock-a-door-run either coz we're at the bottom of a culdesac so there's nowhere to run!
All this shit happened when the family was under quite a bit of stress (seems like this is the case with alot of strange occurances people report) & nothing has happened in a few years now really.

This stuff freaks me out I lived in a flat on my own when i was 19 and weird stuff used to happen, i used to wake up and the lamp would be on or worse sometimes the kettle boiling or tap running full blast!!! Sometimes i would find and old brown tea stained spoon on the side When none of mime was! Freaked me out so bad i used to ring people up to come rescue me 
Found out the lady that lived there before died in there and was not found for a week That was it i was outta there!!!

i was boiling the kettle a while back,waiting for the missus to come back from work,when from behind me a"loud" voice said "Has it boiled yet" now apart from shitting my pants my Rottie was looking away from me into the other room wagging her stump which shit me up even more,
I went upstairs to see where my 2 girls were as they should have been asleep (10.00 pm) and they were so no way was it them,the strange thing is my mum had recently passed away and i thourght,only thourght, it sounded like my mum which then bothered me even more

My brothers house used to be very weird, his bothroom used to be like an ice box, i know most bathrooms are or can be cold but his was freezing. I remember taking a piss in the middle of summer one day and the steam was rising off my pee and i could see my breath!
Some strange things used to happen too, some very hazzerdous. His iron used to come on by itself, doors used to close and open by themselves, even when the lock mechanism was firmly in its groove!
But most of all, the scariest thing was the atmosphere. It was a very strange feeling, was like someone was constantly watching you over your shoulder.
