who have come on here to "justify" theri stretched tyres and shit like that

not really the cleverst bunch are they

if someone had comeon and said "well, it looks good to me but i understand it's not as practical as it oculd be" or words to that efect, i'd see their point, but posting endlessly endless cars with wheels that look like they've been expanded under the arches is just a crock

i mean, ffs they've even posted a pic of a 500 with some 17's on to show that even ford owners go with the stretched tyre look

ok, that's me having my say

I'll take a nice round set of 888's on a nice practical set of comp's with a nice track oriented suspension setup please.
Keep your Porsche wheels, cheap coilovers and stupid camber shims!

well said sir!

i just can't understand why someone would spend good money on making their car perform worse

i think the majority of Ford owners prefer function over form, whereas for Dubbers it's vice versa

I had more camber than a lot of those cars on that thread on the back of my saph!!!!

The only difference is that was due to me writing my cossie off and twatting a kerb so it was broken!!! These guys just want to make their cars look like they're broken!!

i think that explains the whole arguement, somebody wants wheels to look nice somebody wants wheels to help them go faster and look nice.
somebody wants camber to help them corner faster, others to look nice.
same with lowering them.
same with paint jobs
same with just about everything realy
daft arguement imo
were all car enthusiasts why not have respect for the work some of these guys put in or the thinking they put in.

Dojj asw ?? surely not

Theres no way the dubbers will ever be as individual or "good at modifying" thier cars as us ford boys as these pics prove beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Dont know about you lot but i never see any similarity between the cars when i walk around a ford show

some of them aren't different
which is more bonus points for us ford owners
e sometimes have feilds and fields full of cars that look the same and only an expert could tell them apart, beat that

Personally, I couldn't give a toss if our cars are different or not.

I'd rather see a line of 20 nicely prepared, sensibly modified Cossies that look similar to one another, than a load of VWs with shonky camber and tiny wheels and random bits chopped off or added on just in the name of being 'different'.

This obsession with being different is just a bid sad in my eyes, and leads to the sort of sheds in the other thread...

being different is deffinatly strange, modding cars is about getting what you want from it or how you want, not getting interent points for camber or for buying comps and aps instead of standard wheels and brakes.

if thats what you want then fine but get what you want from your car, not doing it for points form owners clubs becuase theyve all got the same mods
