2010!How do you say it?????
I say two thousand and ten!but some say twenty ten!
This got me thinking as if i say 1910 i will nineteen ten not 19 hundred and ten!
So why do we say two thousand andten instead of twenty ten?
i know you are all amazed by how interesting i am !

I think it's down to the fact that when we hit the new millennium everyone was saying the year two thousand, not twenty nothing or twenty o o! The same with two thousand and one, nobody said twenty o one! Ans so on and so forth.......
It's just sorta stuck! Either way's correct, just my way is more intelligent, obviously....

I totally agree, but for the last ten years people have been saying two thousand and one, two thousand and two etc, not twenty o one, twenty o two! It's just force of habit I think why some people, including me sen, say two thousand and ten! (geddit...
