Default damn cars grrrr!!!!

i will try not to swear, but here goes

damn that fucking cunty car

handbrake cables fucked again, seems that it only goes for an mot to get failed on that bastard thing ever fucking year

wasn't a problem before, but this year it' snowing so it's fucking cold outside and my hands are frozen to blocks

and then there's the small matter of trying to get a jack under the bastard, ever since i've put the st side skirts on, the jack won't slide under

so it's ut with blocks of wood and bricks and all sorts of shit to get enough clearance for the jack, and then you get to the next step, where the fuck to put the jack

can't put it on the sills, oh no no no you don't, nbecause that's for the cunty ford jack and the trolley jack don't sit right

so you have to pick a random bit of suspension to jack up, so that means more wood, and guess what? that means the cars got to go higher to clear the plank of timber :angry :

so anyway, all that said and done, don't forget it's snowing, and cold and shit, the bastard thing won't come off

so to cool down i went and looked for the cable that i'd seen just the other day, and failed to find it

so i gave up, washed my hands, and batter the tree stump in the garden with a sledge hammer

but fuck me what a fucking palava all to change a handbrake cable

talking the sierra, i'm currently in "negotiations" with the neighbour about getting another garage built, there's yards and yards of space left over and currently my garage is a bit too small for everything, it's only 7 metres by 6 metres so not a lot else other than one car and my bits
the other garage is 26 foot x 20 foot, but it's got a pool table in it and all my working stuff, so garage no 3 first, then strip down of the sierra, and go from there
i have my eyes on a loom which should solve a few issues i've got and then it'll be summer time

Come on dojj, don't be a poof!

Just put a piece of wood between the ramps and the tyre. It's what I have to do all the time with my RST.

got it on a 4 poster tomorrow so that's sorted

but guess what? more ranting for me

so last night i got my tools together to sort the lighting out, in the dark, in the snow, in the wind, and in the open, with a torch

snipped the old wires out, plugged up the new connectors, stuck them in, fiddled about with stuff and thought "yes, sweet, job done"

and then the lights on one side wouldn't work and i was like "..................."

so i banged the headlight - no luck

i wiggled some wires - no luck

i checked the fuses - no luck

i swore felt better

then i spent the next 30 minutes freezing my fingers to the point of they couldn't feel the wires cutting into them and felt like blocks of wood

then i gave up and pulled the headlights out once more

then i when i saw that i'd unplugged the main connector

felt lke a twat, plugged int back in again and everything was working

but 5 minutes earlier i was ready to murder objects, to death, with fire, and sledgehammers, with a hint of swearing so the relief was like atlas dropping the world off his shoulders

Lol I've done that before. Took a headlight out to change a bulb, bolted it all back in, then scratched my head for ages thinking why the fook it isn't working. Forgot to plug it in, doh!

my dad has the same problem in his car of not being able to get in on the ramps.

what you need is a landrover with 6" lift kit, then you have to lower it to work on it, your arms would be at full stretch to reach the handbrake

is the mondy lowered or just standard ride height?

standard ride hieght mate, the kit just drops it by 2 inches so now my feet clip the bottom of the sills too

it's all fun isn't it, i wonder how those peeps with "real" st cars deal with these matters
