I use loads of Spyware progs. Main 3 being Ad-Aware, SpyBot and Spy Sweeper, but there are a few other little things you can use as well to protect your PC.

Spyware Blaster - http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
SpywareGuard - http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareguard.html
Hijack This - http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html

Not sure Faye but recon it looks like they just the cookies (files the trojans have attached emselves to, ie every time u visit sites it stores info about u on your pc (cookies) so the prog has done what it is meant to and found the files the spyware has got onto your machine by.

vroooom ptssssh: spyware doctor is a program just like the "adaware" program mentioned here. The program has the same intentions, and that is to remove any unwanted spyware on your pc. But I would advise you to download adaware aswell, as the spyware doctor program might not get all the spyware.

Even though the programs are set out to do the same, they will search using different methods, so some program will find more spyware than others.

So yeah its ok to have downloaded spyware doctor, because it removes spyware

Hope this helps

You wanna try and start your comp in safe mode (reboot and keep tapping F8 key untill a menu appears and then pick safe mode no networking)

Also dont know what internet connection u got but wanna try and have pc booting without any connection to net (dial up easy just dont dial for a connection, not sure about cable, but may not connect if u choose the option I said earlier hopefully)

Once booted in safe mode and preferably not connected to net (but not so critical as booting into safe mode) re run spyware checks again and hopefully will let u delete more without crashing your pc.

Only an idea tho, as some of these ikle bastards run as soon as pc starts and wont let themselves be removed so that could be what crashing your pc when trying to delete em, basically they fighting back

Have a go anyway
