Im running a 1850cc Zetec N/A engine in my Mk4 Escort
Im comin up to making a decision on what gearbox to use!
I have the option of a S2 Box - Which seems common and ideal
A Zetec Box ( heard the RS1800i gearbox fits straight on and onto the cradle )
Would it be a good idea to Run a Diesel Box! Like some people run on a RST! I ran a Diesel Box on my Old RST and it was Superb!
Would it be alrite to run one on my Zetec N/A Due to the ratio's?
Any help would be really helpful! Thanks

Diesel box is shite as the ratio's aren't very well suited and despite pub BS is no tougher at all than any other BC box. For ease of fitment I would opt for the S2 box as it will give you the bonus of the LSD, otherwise an early IB5 with front mounted starter as these have a different layshaft bearing setup which makes them a bit more sturdy.
