had many a phonecall putting the world to rights lol
and anyone putting me down as youd like to meet me ,
then by all means find me @ central day and come say hello , anyone whos knows me will tell you im approachable ,

Found this while trying to search for one of my restos for pics, so due to the irony I may as well post....
I'm Still lurking.
TBH its threads like this which are the reason I dont bother posting anymore.
Always tried to put lots of detailed pics and input in to stuff, especially the restos, tried to make them intresting and different, it seemed to be appreciated, but I just figured what was the point.
As all the effort would seem worthless, due to some thread about a toothbrush up someones arse, hypocritical shite or a look, look, look at me style thread and the usual dribble that followed.
I got fed up with the big cheque book guys and arse kissers, and people with egos the size of a house. Im not complaining, I know it takes all sorts to make the world spin etc but I just got fed up reading the same old stuff. And as for the muppet room massive
Hopefully some of my threads inspired people to get stuck into their restos/projects, as that was really my main reason for posting. Basically showing you dont need a big budjet or loads of bumchums, just some spanners and some patience.
Im currently restoring 3 beetles, 2 of which I have current threads running on here, not updated for months though.
One now has a scooby engine in and is pretty cool, I think anyway.
Also just done an engine build and swap on a VR6, got loads pf pics etc, but again havnt bothered to post them.
TBH all the people I have met on here, have been the ones who do not actually post that much. Think that says it all really for me.

The thread in in the projects and resto section. youll prob have to search me to find it as its not been updated for several months. but you never know I may be tempted to come out the woodwork and update

Bit of a long story. I Started the project with VR6 power in mind, but on getting the mk3 donor home decided to keep it as a mk3 as it was too good to scrap. So now going scooby route, Got the engine, and everything i need. Just got to make an adapterplate for bellhousing.
