Default posting to italy?

if i wanted to post something small to italy could i just put it in a post box like normal or would i have to send it via the post office?

Italy is a nightmare for items going missing, i know some small business refuse to send parcels to italy

its just a little green strip for the front of an rs turbo bumper, but if it goes missing then maybe i wont send it

depending on size and weight parcel force worls wide is the cheapest,they do a few different opinons and prices BUT i would definatley send it recorded and trackable with insurance,if the buyer dose not want to pay foe the added security of getting the package there i wouldnt waste your time selling it to them,as you need to protect your item the there money
