Capri Panel availability and model commonality
Hi,
How available are capri panels? Are any of the pattern ones decent or is it the usual story of ebay and swap meets/shows?
I hear the mk3 was actually a facelifted mk2? How much changed? Im guessing even if you found a minter of a mk2, turning it into a mk3 is beyond the scope of whats worthwhile?
Cheers

Not a lot is available panel wise , expressed panels do a lot of the bits but the price tag makes then a no go.
There is still some pattern parts available and some ford parts around too.
Yes the Mk3 is a facelift mk2 , now people are wanting to turn mk3's in to mk2's now as they are something rare.
I guess its down to personal choice

Expect to pay huge prices these days if you find anything.Seen a mk3 wing go for Ł700 on ebay the other day.The pattern wings are terrible but the other pattern parts like sills arches etc are useable with a bit of messing.
Not alot around in the way of original panels and when they do come up they are very pricey
try this company don't know what the quality is like but they do have a lot of panels
