Why is it? Based on anything inparticular or real experiences? Or just because it isn't where you live?
If you wanna be negative, you can pretty much describe every town as a shithole for one reason or other.
There is a fair bit of bad, like anywhere. But the good massivley outweighs the bad for me.
And due to my career there are not many places i haven't vistied to compare it to.

Its all too easy to think 'hhhmmmm what team shall i support?'.....'oh yeah i know, ill support one of the best thats at the other side of the country'........'that way i will be happier for longer as we'll win more often'.

Regarding the original thread title, despite Manchester being one of the cities in the UK where you do notice a large number of asians compared to many other cities, im sure 95% of the crowd are not asian/black. Its probably shown one or two shots where it may have been, and some people have jumped on the bandwagon with their statements/opinions, but im sure its purely by coincedence in this case.

If a team is already doing well, it doesnt need support so it doesnt attract supporters, it just attracts hangers on who want to somehow feel important cause they follow around 11 people who are good at football and NOTHING to do with them as not even a team from the same area etc.

I always want the underdog to do well in most sports. Then if they beat them, its more fun that way and more of an acheivement, rather than it going as expected.

I don't know how common this is amongst grounds in this country, but it just stands out for me because through all my years of going to Molineux, I've seen so so so few Asians or any coloureds it's unreal considering you're in the middle of Wolverhampton where a game of "Spot The White Man" would be very challenging...

They do in manchester, they all support city
I cant laugh like, a north east lad who supports liverpool. and ill be honest, i started supporting liverpool because they were the best team when i was a kid, and all kids want to support the best team, unfortunately for me though, as ive got older, it turned out to be a bad decision, making a life long commitment at 6 years old isnt a wise move
