Im trying to hire a 6m alloy scaffolding tower for use in Devonport dockyard. Due to HSE it needs to be in date, and assembled by an approved contractor.

It needs to be carried on board, assembled, then used in 13 different places for a man and some monitoring equipment, then disassembled and carried out. This process will happen twice.

Does anyone know of any contractors in or around the area who might be able to help, I'm drawing a blank.

u just need to hire a tower from a hire shop bup u will need someone with a P.A.S.M.A ticket to sign it off every time a single pole is moved, all depends on how much they on your back out h+s there but bein a dockyard i can imagine quite strict

Yeah, Ive found a few places I can hire from, and Ive found out all about the PASMA training, but we arent in a position to put someone through the course and we need to find some way of making sure its correctly signed off.

anyone can build it u just need to find someone with a PASMA to slip a tenner to sign it off 4 u, im sure someone down a dockyard will have 1
