Default suspension help

i bought a set of bilstein tarmac spec front coil overs for my 3 door and have 909 rose jointed top mounts, i bolted one together on the car today and the car sit's far too high, can i use these together? or do i need new top mounts?

any help appreciated

i know that 909 mounts are good but can you mount the shocks with the normal top mount might bring it down a bit but i know u want the roller top mount because they are good and you have adjusted the platforms ....Neil

A gravel spec Leg/spring will be longer than a Tarmac spec leg/spring

No problem...I run a gartrac mk2 escort front tarmac strut on a granada hub and just fit the strut body lower in the hub to keep some damper travel..which some people reckon is more important than looks

Ha ha,

the shock body has a step in it so I couldn't do that,

Do the Granada hubs give any improvement over 3 door ones? Thought 3 door ones were ok?

There just wider at the bottom...Which to us means we can run the wider Grp4 Gartrac strut bodie...

Your 3 door hubs are fine ..We are just stuck in the 70's and havnt moved up to 80's tech yet
