Any used car traders on here?
As above. I'm working in the business myself and would be interested in what the current situation is like in the UK.
In Germany, recession and scrappage scheme have hurt us badly in 2009.

nothing around to buy so when you sell stock its very difficult to replace.also having to pay more for cars than ever,just to get some stock.

Yeah exactly. Also export business has almost died completely.
Do you actually get more customers from eastern europe since the Euro - GBP exchange rate has changed? I've seen quite a few polish, czech and slovak trailers with newer, mainly crash-damaged RHD cars on them on our motorways.
Also when I was in England in February 2009, Dover docks was crowded with people with motorcycles on their trailers, heading back towards mainland europe.
