It didn't go how I expected at all!!!!
I thought he would freak.... or at least have small hump.... or at LEAST call me a few choice words and give me a dead arm!
but he just saw my sad face and me promising to replace it and apologising etc etc and gave me big cuddle and said 'don't worry mate, I know you didn't do it on purpose. Its only a watch you wally etc etc'
I left it few mins and we just chatted and my mate Rocky who was secretly filming came over looking as gutted as me at the lack of drama and fun!
so I gave him the new one... he gave me HUGE cuddle and was PROPERLY choked up!!! Thought he was gonna cry hahah! and then he said some lovely things and I almost cried hahahah.
sooooo to summarise....
It was very nice moment (and then went soppy and ghey) .... AND totally unfunny!!!!!
WOUNDER!!!!

I also use Citizens too as a working watch..... quality is mega, they look cool and the price is good..
They are a big old watch too.... these are Promaster Pilots Pro`s, the bottom one is full titanium and only weighs 100g
The top one i have lived in for 3 years and it`s not missed a beat...... and they are monster accurate as they set themselves by radio to the time signal....
I'd love one. Perfect watch IMO.

Not quite sure what the ultimate watch is for me yet, im trying to find out to buy the next one! Gone off the daytona bigtime and sold my white and red face a couple of years ago.

i use a g shock for work and messing about totally bombproof same as yours diva it sets the time via signal at 2am and its solar powered should have been Ł150 but got it for 50% its this model

i used to love my gshock feck knows what happened to it though, have got a few of my dads old watches in the safe, havent really paid much attention to them though i know there is two rolexs there and a few other makes, one day i might have the guts to look at them!

Some nice watches here.
Totally agree about the steel Rolex never losing their money. My non-date sub (james bond one) has increased by 40% since I bought it 12 years ago. The only downside about buying a steel rolex as an investment is that when you feel like buying a new watch it's very difficult to let go of it. Hence when I got the yachmaster I kept it. Girlfriend was unimpressed

Really like Navitimers, look cracking on a brown strap as well as black.
Like the Blackbird also, a bit too bling for me though.
Andy_R had a very nice Sea Dweller last time I saw him(which was ages ago so not sure if he still has it) Thats what inspired me to get mine. Couldnt stretch to the SD so got the next best thing!
A Stainless No Date Submariner, totally love it!
They very rarely decrease in value if kept in good condition.

Finished reading a book a couple of months back about a Glasgow criminal called Jamie 'Iceman' Stevenson who made an absolute fortune in the drugs trade and he and a lot of his top men used to spend their money on top watches as it was a good way of laundering money and the watches never decreased in value. When police raided his house i think they found over 50 high end watches. Who says crime doesn't pay?
