a friend of mine had a problem with a blocked drain so called out a well know company to unblock which they coul,dent said there was a collaspe sumwhere along the line but did,ent test with a camera... also there is no man hole in garden so they just water jetted throught the stench pipe that they cut a hole in anyway as it happens he luckly took out home insurance with drain cover that very same day lol my question is its been 3 weeks now would he have a problem claiming and would they know that a certain drain company has been at that address recently

Yes, if it happens to be one they own or use themselves.

And yes again, if whoever comes to investigate finds a recently cut access hole.

But they may not be bothered at all.

Is the drain still blocked?

yes its still blocked and he said he can put a straight connector over and paint all sten pipe any1 know who Co op insurance uses to unblock drains
