Saw this on the RSOCBB

It will be completed over the next 1-2 months and be advertised through normal
media, but we're offering a heads-up to forum users who might be interested in learning more about the car with a view to viewing/making a purchase.

Year 1989
Mileage 88K
Service history yes
MOT yes, 12 months
Tax yes. 6 months
Price £6k

The car is an excellent spec, unmolested Cosworth converted from 4WD to 2WD to allow for more power. 2.0 twin cam 16V has sensible mods including larger turbo and output of this car is currently estimated at 400bhp. Very quick. Recent top end rebuild and gearbox refurb, the mechanicals of this car are excellent. Excellent condition original black leather interior and sunroof, original spec wheels and new tyres. Low mileage supported by previous MOTs. Guaranteed HPI clear. Lots of history. Car will be sold with 6 months tax. MOT until end of July.

If anyone is genuinely interested and wants to know more, please PM me and I can give some further details. The price is only a guide at the moment as Mike and Edd have not agreed selling prices yet, and parts are still being bought. Any potential buyer must be aware that the transaction will be filmed.

This post will be taken down at the end of Jan.
Thanks
Not a 2WD on an 89

Someone buy it to twat him at the 'transaction'

lol i have to admit that i do actually really enjoy the Wheeler Dealer series.... but it does make me chuckle everytime Mike conveniently forgets to take Edds labour into account when "boasting" about the so called profit he has made!!

You'd be gutted if you buy the car, think it's decent and then see the program and Edd is doing his rust repairs on the arches. Chicken wire, newspaper, tub of filler and a rattle can should sort it nicely. Think thats usually how they do it.

Hahaha, I can't wait to see Mike smoking it around a go-kart track or something ridiculous once they're finished it... same as when they finished the Audi Quattro and took it on a rallycross style razz and smashed through a few cones.

Cheers,
Grant
