Default Where to get Rotoflex Coupling??

Hi,

where can I buy a Rotoflex Coupling for my 1992 Ford Sierra Cosworth 4x4?

The Rotoflex Coupling must be like this:

I've found the item on this website http://www.southwalesprops.com/, but the price is very expensive (around 160£ + shipping to Denmark)!

It is item SWP 180 on their website:
http://www.southwalesprops.com/drive.htm

Ford Denmark will only sell the Rotoflex Coupling with the propshaft and the price is around 550£

Iv'e tried Graham Goode, but they cannot supply. I cannot find the item on burtonpower.com, amber-performance.co.uk, pjmotorsport.com etc.

I cannot be the only Cosworth driver with this problem?

Please help

ford uk are the sane mate

you have to buy the complete prop shaft

but ford uk are discontinued on that part which i found out

your best bet is to find someone breaking a cossie or 2.9 2.0 xr4x4 as thery are the same

I've got one from another cossie, but I can see cracks on it too. Therefore, I would like to get a brand new one to solve the problem 100%.

good luck in getting a beand new one

mine has got a few slight cracks in it and so as my spare one

deflex do the donught for granads with no bearing in the middle though
dont get one of these as i fitted one and it vibrated that much it snapped by transfer box casing clean in half

the way im going round it ( i know its not much help) is when i get my box uprated im having an escort main shaft fitted as these are longer then i can run the escort dongunt thinner and stronger

but if you can get hold of new ones mate grab a bundle

But still the same problem or can you get the dongunt from Ford?? Will the shaft and dongunt from Escort Cossie fit on my Sierra Cossie?? Believe it will be as expensive as getting a new shaft with rotoflex coupling from Ford Denmark??

i think everything gettin a little confused

im going to be running an escort cosworth gear box so i would need to change the rotorflex to an escort cosworth

ive never seen an escort cosworth rotorflex perish yet

so no need for a new one

because your running a saf box these rotorflexs are very hard to get hold of

i have looked everywhere for one but no joy

i ended up phoning breakers for the best one they had

i got mine from an xr4x4 breakers in the end of a 2.9 model

the website you have listed in your first post if they do one swp180 then i would buy one off them as i paid £120 for mine 2nd hand

You know - translating everything to English. The rotorflex is called a "hardyskive" end Danish

120£ for a 2nd hand

I will try email Deflex and let you know.

True, but if there is sufficient demand for such things they may be willing to....

Nope, the shaft from the Escort is shorter.

the escort uses a long main shaft in the gearbox to use the thin rotorflex

if that makes sense

if your on about the prop shaft length then yes that is shorter
