Im pritty sure im right but thought id double check that it's only the fan switch that controls the fans and they cant be activated by the ecu or have anythin to do with the ECT sensor . Fans came on today while the rad was warm to the touch but the fn swithc is only a few months old will chnge it again anyway there only buttons but wanted to make sure , starting to question my sanity cheers in avdance Ally

 

Correct, 2wd controlled only by fan switch, no connection whatsoever with any other sensor or the ecu.
