Fantastic result Paul. Really happy for you mate! ![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Car will go like an absolute missile! With the power & torque you have there + the aerodynamics of the Focus you should be able to see the magic 2 number.![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Total credit to all involved.

Hi Johnny
I was let down by too many people not delivering what they said they would on time. Got seriously pissed off of waiting after spending an absolute fortune on very high spec custom components. Then arrived my son who ofcourse took priority. I always kept on fooling myself in saying I will get it finished however due to certain people moving to other parts of the world, people never delivering to deadlines and being let down timewise I decided to knock it on the head. Instead to keep myself satisfied I brought a 200hp GSXR1300 Hayabusa. Much cheaper, easier to tune and a hell of alot more speed for pound. A real shame as I had some serious plans for the new evolution of engine and I really miss driving a car that light and fast......gosh to think of it I've been in some seriously fast cars however nothing has given me the buzz that my old Fiesta did back then. Oh well.....its life and you have to be realistic and get on with it.
I only recently decided to actually knock it and give up.....it will be hurtful selling the very special components that would of made for sure a very powerful and reliable engine with no expense spared.
Cheers
Sunny

The YB runs more oil pressure than Zetec. The zetec is a more modern engine with closer tolerances, so runs less pressure to reduce pumping loses.
Very nice graph.

Saw the manual gauge (that is the size of a wall clock by the way, lol) go from 2bar to 5bar and when i looked at the computer its was only showing 34psi and climbing slowly.
I think where you are reading into it wrong is that you are reading the rpm table as only one run.
The way that the result table is done is doing a seperate dyno run for each rpm point.
Ie:
Run for 2000rpm
Then another for 2500rpm
Then another for 3000rpm
Etc etc
Obviously you can hold the engine at the lower rpm points for longer and the computer gauge will catch up but you wouldn't want to hold the engine for too long at 7500rpm.
Thats what it all looked like to me yesterday anyway.
Sure Jim will correct me if i have got it wrong.

Was at Harvey Gibbs' yesterday and can confirm what Jim was saying about the computer taking a while to catch up with regards the oil pressure.

i questioned the oil pressure drop on one of my engines and had no problems and since seen the delay from big mechanical gauge in dyno room to the computer

Jim, have you and your Dad experienced any problems with head lift on high boost zetecs? If so, what have you done to combat the issue?
