jarnail singh pinderawale was a powerful force in punjab at the time but he was for the seperate state of khalistan for us sikhs due to the emergence of pakistan splitting the state of punjab between india and pakistan at partion, before that there was no pakistan, only india

I have a lot of time for all people from all walks of life. But I also think there's a time and a place for everything, and I don't think sunday night on BBC1 is the right time or place for a program about Sikhism.

Just watched it on Iplayer, thought it was quite good. I remember all sikhs protesting back in the 80,s, but didnt take much notice of it all as I was to busy boozing and shagging about.
Like the phrase " All in the name of religon" is says it all. Innocent people massacered and sorry anyone who can take a baby and burn it alive aint fit to walk this planet!!!!! Fucked up or what.
The way i read it is this geezer wernt happy cos he wanted the real sikh religon to bear arms, the gov said fuck off and went in to kick his arse. Oh and they used the highly religeous Golden Temple to hide in (Nice place though).They went in at that time so the gun wielding fanaticals couldnt get the message out to their mates to help em!!!! So all shit broke out and people got shot as they do. A sympathiser "LOYAL" to the PM got his own back and murdered Mrs Ghandi so all hell broke loose.The Hindus went mad, got their tyres out and then fitted them to turban wearing sikhs and set fire to them!!!!! WTF, Should have taken their Turbans off!!!

Anyway not interested in Religon, it causes all sorts of shit and misery and should be banned!!!
