Clay the windows, that'll get rid on any unseen contaminants, and treat them with rain-x.

Should do the job just nicely.

steamy windows are from the moisture in the air condensing on the glass, air-con removes the moisture from the air within the car

You can get small, rechargeable dehumidifiers that would do the job too. I've not tried one in the car, but they do work well, so should do the same in the car too.

I have this problem in the civic, ive clean the windows well with glass cleaner but that did nothing, ive got no leaks.

Ive got some Super Resin polish so i may try that. Im sure it doesnt say anything about cleaning windows on it though? and how do you do it? apply with a soft cloth and leave it for a minute then buff off? same as paint work?

Took my Puma 2/3 minutes when departing from work last night. That was thick and it was minus 7 outside.

I find it doesnt leave a greasy film like window cleaner does... it may look clean but it is not squeaky clean... therefore the condensation sticks!

Also let the car warm up then turn the fans on!...

If you put the fans on full before its warm it blows cold damp air around therfore mists up!
