Been offered a white 1993 rs200 mk5b for £400, tidy condition, needs one plate welded on rear leg for mot, one noisy tappet. no tax or mot, 84k.

drove it last night and seems to go very very well, not quite as quick as my st170 but feels alot more rampant and agressive and sounds awesome with it ashley exhaust and pipercross filter.

dont know nothing about the i4 engine though so any info on these would be good

how easy are the tappets to do

was gonna buy it and strip interior out etc and use as a road legal track car, it has a 40 mm lowering kit fitted already

 

if thats all the welding it needs rip his hand off,itll break for more surely?

 

tappets are easy to do,has it had the timing chain done if not it would be a good idea to do that as well as the tappet,go on to
