I was due back to the Congo tonight. Went to the airport at 15 00, slightly early as it started snowing lightly. Met my mate there who was heading to schipol to meet his fiance coming in from moscow to go T'Egypt.

I was hoping he'd get away but i'd get stuck

Snow came on quite bad but only for half an hr, they shut the airport and we waited.

His flight was delayed so i assumed i'd go but after. Then from nowehere without even a delay they cancelled my flight

Had to go and reclaim bags and rebook. Flights from Paris to Pointe Noire are only sun, tue, thu night so i assumed i'd go sun and get a bonus 3 days off.

Next available flight is a week on sunday

I've told the guy i work back to back with and he might just stay rather than find me a bull shit way there via the states, south africa etc etc.

What a shame!

My mate who was stuck with me had his flight cancelled, his fiance travelled on T'egypt and this am he has flown to paris.

CDG is such a twat for buying food, sandwich, juice, crisps, mars bar = 15 euro's

chop if you go onto the klm web site and join the petroleum club it gives you acces to most lounges all over the place, its FREE as long as you travel from an oil airport, it even gets me into the lounge in oman ffs
