travel advise...Durham to Liverpool (fook that)
.....i'd be going A1.....M1.....M62 (over saddleworth)......anyone know what they're like atm....cheers Pete

will you be setting off early in the morning. I drove from darlo to birtley today and the a1 was all clear mind you it was at dinner time undam and the sun was out. Are you going to pick your car up pete.

Use to drive it twice a week ... Durham to Wrexham area.
Most of it should be ok but the M62 is the highest Motorway in the country .. So anyones guess really.

i used to travel that route loads of times years ago. I still think the house in the middle of the m62 is mad. It took me 1 hour and 30 mins to get from warrington to darlo in a 1.2 fiat punto lol.

got to scotch corner and there was a big pile up......thought fuck this....it was -4 at home and -10 in liverpool.......car will wait....

there was a few car crashes this morning on the A1 there was a lorry jacked knifed near chester le street and there were cars n vans in the grass enbankment that was at 6.30 this morning.
