normally around 1%ish, the fuelling has to be close to enable lambda lock on, we always map with closed loop off for that reason

the problem is tweeking the co changes the whole fuel table as a percentage, so it may end up lean top end.

needs a setup really.

I would love to get it set up but i would be so scared that you would find a long list of faults with the car.

its not something to be scared of.

at worst you will drive away with a big work report, detailing any faults we have found and how you should rectify them..its much better to know the problems if they exist.

get her in, i will gladly spend the day on her, do what i can,and go from there, at least you willl know what to do next

a good setup transforms most cars. you dont have to spend a penny other than the setup fee if you dont want to...no hidden bills with us, we are here to help

Better to know about them than to have it blow up on you and then fork out ££££'s on a build.

Be pro-active rather than reactive when it comes to car maintenance.

not if you dont want to, we may advise it comes back after you rectify faults, but i doubt it would need a complete set up.

and at the end of the day its up to you

most people do a setup as a yearly check over tbh,

we base set, check, test, monitor and adjust everything!

oh yes took my saph there with running problems ie wouldn't start first go, stu found a wiring problem (bulkhead plugs!) he even spotted that my front prop was about to die.. something I hadn't spotted..
the car ran sweet as a nut after..

the last car I took there was my dads rst was given a clean bill of health but they did find the usual boost leaks as that is something they check, how many other normal garages would check that??

Glenn,

As I said to you at the Scotch Corner meet, it's well worth finding out where you're up to with the car.

You never know, we may just get it running nice enough that the fuel savings recover you that £141 pretty quickly

If you come down on one of my days off, I might even go to the pleasure beach with you
