Jesus ive had a bad morning! Was over near holt going down a B road and come to a hill which I near jack kniffed going down and then I had to go up a hill which took me 10 minutes, I then come to another hill which took me ages again but lucky enough a gritt wagon cone and they through gritt under my wheels.

I certainly need to find another way home coz I'm not going up and down those hills loaded with 24 tonne of wine!

I envy all your jobs. I was mad on trucks as a child and wanted to be a long distance lorry driver. I had a stint of epilepsy so I never will now.

I've been all over delivering for QVC with a friend. I'm in my element if I'm honest. The thought of being up early in a service station with a bacon butty knowing I'm off on a long journey and I'm not coming back for a week makes me smile.

If you lads ever want a partner, I'd love to come along. Sad, I know.

You don't need twin beds... While you sleep I'll sit behind the wheel and pretend I am driving through Germany with 'We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there' on my Ipod.

Never!!! They should sell minature me with a suction to go on the passenger window. Drivers falling asleep would be a thing of the past. Do you have a pull down horn, or am I making a show of myself when I do the motion? No-one honks it.

You fancy a bit of Benni? I'm desperate to share a bunk with you! If not then I'll reluctantly go with Kosman and sleep with one eye open. I have issues, but he has real issues.

Thats always been my dream driving a scania topline across europe....hopefully you can do it in the near future

My last seizure was at 19 and I am 23. Hopefully one day I can be rich and when I buy a DVD off eBay, I'll be able to go and pick it up in my HGV.

I am doing Graphics Design at college, which I'm sure will always be my main job. I was unfortunate as it was down as classic migraine and I could have done what I wanted, but then the latest specialsit I seen classed it as epilepsy. No-one agrees with her but she's the main man so to speak, so it's down as it.

I'm lucky 'cos I know when I am going to have one, as I get flashing stars above my left eye for a while and then I am off. I wish you all the best with yours mate!

I am good at Graphics so may as well go down that road. I was crazy on lorries as a kid and if I could take my license I would. Years ago it was all I wanted to do, lol. It must be awful not having any warnings? God knows how that must feel, mine were bad enough.

You'll be cruising in your wagon in less than a year, for sure!

ive got class 1 and class2,you can do them both at the same time and its usually between 3-5 days depending how good you are with test at the end, both licences, tests medicals and tutions cost me 1600 all in,i passed 1st time,if you fail i think its 270 for a retest.

i dont know of any national companys but i did my licecnse with tal training on sheffield, they were good, they had 4 of our lot and everyone passed 1st time.
as for jobs mate theres that many drivers out of work that the big firms have got their pic, you'd be better finding a little local firm that would take you on,thats how i did it anyway, got expericne under me belt then fucked off to a bigger firm till i got laid off, bigger firms tend to be more well run and have better methods of work, thats my experience anyway.

theres a lot of firms that go over the water now,so if you're willing to go you shouldnt have a problem

recession has hit the tipping indurtry hard but my mate who drives a tautliner has never slowed down.

That MAN looks well smart in performance blue!

Tim I done my licenses quite quick, a lesson rach day for 4 days and your test on the 5th. I done my class 2 on a scheme which was mostly funded by the government but I was on the last ever course. The place I done my class 1 he charges 800 for each 1 which includes your test. They are called town and country near kirkby.
