my car strangely passed it mot yesterday as i thought they would fail it on a tyre and rus etc, and was pooooooing myself watching it getting tested. but it passed with a couple of advisorys.

has anyone else had a worrying mot viewing etc and the car has come out with a clean ticket?

 

no cause my mate tests my car and i know he is spot on. If there was something really wrong with it he would properly fail it.

 

yeah 1 or 2 shit fails

 

didnt think mine would pass as its been off the road 3 1/2 years but it did!!! Had to have a retest but that was only cos of rear drivers caliper not working which i replaced. Theres a few bits that will be better being replaced etc but nothing thats a serious problem!!

 

hell the most surprising thing is my clio passed,,,, oh and i once had to MOT my scooby a few years ago,,,,, the tester had to use hes car to pass the emissions pmsl

at 9% CO i belive its either removed or possibly stopped working like it used to pmsl

this was the first time in three years of ownership

 

pleased it passed fella!suppose it helps that i am a mot tester so never feel the sense of dread when mot time comes round lol

 

good news on passing your mot last year was the first time my car legally passed its mot with out fudging the exhaust emissions thanks to msd & closed loop

It didnt pass, you had to repair it first for it to pass

 

always gobsmacked when my shit heaps pass,cos there all crap,helps with my mate taking it to a good mate of his for test,never worried bout the cossy though,that walked its last ticket with a local hardnose mot bloke,who spent a hour aliging x wifes lights he that anal sometimes,when i got there he said oh a shit heap sierra ill get the fail sheet ready,i said its a clean one it'll pass,he gave me the mot begrudgling

 

HELL YEAH IM COMING AT LONG LAST.

Dont know if i can get the car of the drive at the mo as where my missus lives is a steep un salted hill. so might be going with richie in the vectra.
