mk2 focus bits won't fit, its a completely different car.

I have seen the v6 engine done before, its a lot of work though as the focus engine bay is quite short, a tuned 2 litre zetec will be quicker than the v6 anyway!

would the front from '01-'04 focus fit? also have a '04 1.6 lx which has the (in my opinion) nicer headlights. Also would the one touch indicaters from a later focus fit?

i never did think any mk 2 parts would fit different chassi so on
the bumper from a 1-04 should fit might be fitted differently but should work. and i would go for the 2 litre asdwell alot better engine bepends on what your going for torque or bhp

Yeah the bumpers from a facelift mk1 will fit straight on, headlights will fit but you will need to change the wiring plugs on the end of the loom as they are different.

I think you need to buy plugs from VW strangely enough. Its not overly difficult if you are handy with a soldering iron. When I did mine I bought some plug and play looms from a bloke on the focus owners club so it was easy, I don't think he makes them any more though!
