it made 280ft and 196.3bhp. without my map that Norris set awhile back and a new Metering unit failed and that was a pre run without a good boost. it made 246bhp awhile back with SR.

So you've made 246hp (!!!!) in the past and made 193hp and a shitload of torque with a knackered metering unit? Still on a 1600 as well? might have to call BS there....

it had a new Metering unit before the rollers and made the above. It needed mapping but for a run to see if this new metering unit was the cause of my problem of turbo lag it had a massive flat spot. so i went on a rr day with a club i know of to see what it ran like. made the above.

its a fully fordge CVH 1.6 T3 rs turbo with 5th injector. and of course more bits and bobs i cba to state.

but yeah it made alot of Tq and since the turbo let go im awaiting on a rebuild and cossie managment.

My Next door is running 190bhp on a standard Intercooler. S1 CVH 1.6 T3 none water cooled MFI engine. Built by Norris Motorsport.

I dont need you to call BS here.

Oh and MFI can take 251.3bhp before it max'es out, sure some will correct me but thats what Norris Produced. ....

Your neighbours sounds feasible but sorry mate there's no way yours is making 193hp let alone 280lbs that's ridiculous on a 1.6 most the time all the CVH factors aside.

What boost did it make 246hp (!!!) in the past at? what spec is your T3? spec of the head must be ridiculous.

Technically it's possible but you're talking the very top end of performance for your spec and it was pissing smoke!

It pissed smoke due to the turbo letting go.

head had alot of work. so did the engine. so has the car, it made that. it was on a stupid amount of boost. that did last not very long.

T3 is basically a T34 just sandard T3 turbo with new(34) internals. shaft, bearings, ect. and a -31 Act wound up.with bord manifold.. untill i find someone who can produce me something with a manifold with screamer its not being sent to norris until then as he cant do anything for me at this time.

id like to see the graph aswell, be interesting know what other mods are done to make this as if it is making this power on mfi its going to blow up very soon

and i didnt think you could map mfi?

I know never said it had standard Internals inside the turbo... LOL...

the graph will be online soon as i get hold of a scanner

I'd say you take these power figs with a huge pinch of salt or you're in for a few pages of getting flamed here mate...

Really see this now, a 1.6 CVH with a T3 made 196hp and.......... 280 lb/ft
