Default bike people help please

need some help regarding fork seals

how the hell do you dismantle the things so i can get the strut out of the bodie then replace the seal i carnt even get the seal out

any tips easiest way

im new to bikes and im restoring mine

Remove the spring first through the top then normally there’s a bolt that goes up through the bottom of the leg. Undo that n the tube should slid out. May also be a C - clip in the top holding the seal down tho.
Use a hooked driver to flip the old seal out.
Tap the new seal back in, but making sure it goes in square without to much force!
(Lightly oil it)

As Wyn said there is a bolt holding it in at the bottom (prob).Lift the seal out that you can see at the top (the dust seal) and you will find a "c" clip.Thats easy to get out.When thats all off,tip the fork upside down and get the old oil out then "bang" it on something soft to get the oil seal out.good luck mate.

no bolt in the bottom mate, found the c clip but the seal still isnt coming out, im mainly after the tube to come out so i can get the bottom of the forks polished

its a kawasaki kr-1 if that helps can get a pic if u want
