Just watching worlds strongest man on bravo, this guy is an animal just like mariusz i reckon.
Hes won 5 events so far, and just done about 20 reps lifting the 700lbs car
the 2nd best was about 14-15 i think.
Hes the one to beat, well him and mariusz

This is Derek's year I think. Did you see him in the log lift? He hardly had to cheet it up at all, just straight up off the floor and pressed it almost clean with his shoulders. Freaky strength.
He won all but one event I think!
(If anyone knows who won overall please dont say, as I'm gonna watch the finals on Monday on Bravo)

Ronnie "light weight baby!" Coleman is the biggest genetic freak the world has ever seen when it comes to body buiding. He is simply insane.
If he had started out as a strong man competitor, or started earlier, he would most definately have been brilliant at it... he leg presses 2300lbs for gods sake! lol
But I think he is past the point of no-return, as he has nerve damage in his lats and triceps.
There are rumours of him coming back to the Olympia, but I think its hype, I doubt he will come back. Especially as Jay Cutler is really on form.

As for him being a good strongman, of course he is mega strong in a powerlifting sense but WSM is about CV fitness aswell, which i guess he would have little of given the size of him.
Johnny Jackson is the strongest IFBB Pro, he'd maybe have a better chance at WSM but to be honest, i doubt they'd manage it. Plus WSM is "drug tested" (in the loosest sense of the word!)

Apparently he is 100% back for 2010 olympia.

Totally agree with you there, he would probably gas-out pretty quick. In the previous post I was saying if he had set out to do WSM from the start he would have been good (not nearly as well paid though!)
Johnnie beat Ben White at the Olympia Expo to become the "Worlds strongest bodybuilder". Although its interesting to note that Ben managed a 573lb bench press to Johnny's 523... but he "only" got 650lb deadlift, compared to Johnnie's 815lb deadlift.
Isd the drug testing a bit of a joke at WSM?

Not sure exactly the level of testing in WSM but drug use is obviously pretty rife in most competitors but as always its overlooked/certain drugs are un tested or un-detectable in the tests. (not trying to take anything away from the competitors though as they are true beasts without doubt!)

everyone admits to needing more calories than they could physically injest by eating loads, so they pop pills
that's cheating in my book, but if that's what everyone is doing, they cheat away lads![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
but no the fem's, some of them tend to be butt ugly before they start abusing the roids, and they all have fake titties
