p-s it did have this rear bumper on it .

what is involved in this conversion of the rear end is it direct replacement or does back panel need modifying thanks an here are a few of my fiesta not a turbo on the book but still a turbo by nature

He basically did everything... New back end, bigger intercooler, de handled and locked (think i still remember where the magic button is ), he put that removable front slam panel in. I think it was ZVH on cossie management when he sold as he had built a full zetec turbo engine but sold that seperatley. Had a full respray, new repair panel in the filler cap. Astra gte digi dash that i flogged to him and T3 turbo iirc, Im sure theres loads more but it was a few years ago. The work he did there was nothing scrimped on and i think it was Jamsport that set it up originally which cost him a fortune.

A trip down memory lane is always nice..... Sorry to hijack the thread.

Yes must admit, not really a fan of the mirrors, is there still some illumination round the glass?? That car aint half been through some strip downs then, certainly wont be going rusty thats for sure. Bet its awesome with that zetec turbo.
Its really weird cus i could have sworn i remember him doing that to the slam panel when he put the intercooler in.... Must be going maaaad

no i pulled them off lol .there was a panel on it but made a new one in ally, and the shell is mint i only had to do a tiny bit of welding on it and sealed it all up should last years .theres a few stone chips on it now from all the strip and hard road use tho but its a soild car.

Know it's a bit of a long shot, but does anyone remember the FRST that was in Max Power circa July 2000?

It was red, on 17s, & had a Cossie front bumper on... the thing that set it apart for me was the bodykit had been blended into the wings...

The lad came from Northampton IIRC and I would love to know if it's still about.

god takes me back, around 10 years ago when i was 18-19 bought my first ford a Rs too a black fiesta rst, god loved that car and wish i had pics of it but i dont! gutted.

had it for 2 years at the end running new t2 beige inj, full system, big cone filter, pace cooler, collins chip, full spax susp kit about a real 170- 180bhp but it was a pocket rocket and sounded the business! and never failed me starting wise except the turbo going within 3 weeks of buying it

wonder if it is still going about, i doubt it and i started to suffer from rust underneath. j341 xrs was the reggy

petrol cap, arches, then everywhere else lol!! it's an old ford so will suffer the tin worm.

Loved mine, still remember the day I got it, and the happy happy journey home with my mates old man doing cirlces around us on the motor way to get a goo dlook at it, grinning from ear to ear!!

It was the most exciting car purchase ever i think, my first RS and my first special car that i had saved up to get. When the owner opened the garage and backed it out I nearly fainted lol!!
